Neoloy Geocell participating in geogrid testing shows 30-40% higher pavement thickness reduction factor than geogrids
This full-scale controlled field trial conducted by Kiwa (KOAC), the leading institute in Holland tested the deformation and stiffness of geogrid reinforcement in the base courses of pavements. NPA Geocells were the only geocell tested with geogrids from 7 leading manufacturers and the only product that could accommodate inferior aggregate material as the road base infill. The results showed that Neoloy Geocells’ Road Base Thickness Reduction Factor (RF) of 0.7 substantially exceeded 0.5, which was the recognized highest RF value for geogrids.
