Combined NPA Tough-Cells reinforced layer over geogrid at subgrade proven to attenuate heaving
A Hybrid Geosynthetic Solution was used in a new track foundation over weak expansive clays. This unique solution combines Neoloy Tough-Cells with a geogrid layer to reinforce the sub-ballast layer. Track alignment measurements showed zero degradation, thereby demonstrating the efficacy of the hybrid solution for rail and road soil stabilization and reinforcement applications.
